BigMosaics.com is located in sunny Boca Raton, Florida. We are somewhat of an "accidental" success story. We began making photo mosaics about 6 years ago when the founder digitized all 28 of his family photo albums to have back-ups in case of a fire. That's right, 28 albums! At the time, they were all scanned page by page...one album at a time. Since he had put so much time into making all of his family photographs into digitals, he decided to put them to use and create a gift that would last a lifetime. After LOTS of research, many late nights attempting to create a quality mosaic, and constantly flowing coffee, our first mosaic was born. His family loved the mosaic and so did everyone that saw it. Requests started pouring in to create them for friends and their families. The word started to spread... and a business was born.

We've certainly come a long way since then. Apparently our success wasn't so accidental after all. Now, we make mosaics for people all over the country and do work for some of the world's largest companies. We have the technological ability to create truly stunning photo mosaics as big as your imagination can take you!

We do owe all of our success to our many happy customers and THANK YOU for your support!

Step One

Photo Mosaics are designed by taking your main photo and slicing it into grids, on the computer of course.

Step Two

Your individual photos are then arranged in the grid so that the colors of the small photos closely match that part of the main photo. This process is repeated over and over again until the whole grid has been filled.

(the images above are enlarged for illustration purposes)

Step Three

We run a final inspection of your mosaic and adjust any images to better blend. The main picture is then "brought forward" in the mosaic, which basically brings out the main picture by lightly tinting the smaller images.

Step Four

We post an online preview of your mosaic for your approval. Once you email us and approve your mosaic, we send it to print and ship. You should expect to receive your mosaic within 5-7 days.
